How is this different from Wix, Squarespace or Shopify?

Wix and Squarespace are template-based, all-in-one tools: quick to launch but limited in what you can customize, and expensive long-term (mandatory monthly fees, transaction fees, locked marketplace). We deliver a custom site that you own: the code is yours, hosting is open, and future changes (ERP integration, automation, custom payments) aren't blocked by a paywall.
Do I own the source code?

Yes, completely. At delivery you receive the full Git repository with all history. You can host it anywhere, evolve it with any developer, or come back to us at any time. No proprietary lock-in, no "exit fees."
Who handles hosting and the domain name?

Included the first year in every package (Hostinger hosting or a Canadian equivalent, automatic SSL certificate, your choice of .ca/.com/.qc.ca domain). From year two on, you can either continue with us (maintenance plan from $39 CAD/month) or take ownership of the subscriptions yourself — we transfer control free of charge.
How long does a project take?

A 5-page marketing site: 2 to 3 weeks from signing to launch. A project with custom features (complex forms, client portals, API integrations): 4 to 8 weeks. The timeline is written into the quote before you sign anything.
What if I'm not happy with the result?

The contract includes two full rounds of revisions after the first delivery, at no extra cost. If after that the site still doesn't match what we scoped together in the quote, we refund half the final payment. The goal is for you to walk away proud of your site, not just contractually satisfied.
Is SEO included?

Technical SEO (meta tags, semantic HTML, sitemap, schema.org, speed, mobile, multilingual hreflang) is included in every package. Content strategy (keyword research, article writing, backlink building) is recurring work we offer as a separate engagement after launch.
What exactly is included in the quoted price?

Every quote details line by line: mockup, design, development, content (if copywriting included), translation, year-1 hosting, domain name, SSL certificate, analytics setup, handover training. No surprises after signing — if something isn't in the quote it's not in the price, and we'll have told you beforehand.
Can I change the site after launch?

Yes, two ways. For small changes (text, images, adding a page), we offer a monthly maintenance plan. For major evolutions (new features, redesigns), we work hourly or fixed-bid depending on scope. You stay in control of timing and budget.
Do you only work with Québec businesses?

We're based in Saint-Hyacinthe and most of our clients are in Québec, but we also work remotely with French-, English- and Spanish-speaking SMBs across Canada. Billing is in CAD and Québec sales tax applies to Québec clients.
